• To check output voltage of chargers (energizers, controllers, fencers), place the copper fence probe (located on top of the casing) on the fence output terminal of the charger, and keep the earth rod (connected with black wire) in contact with the charger’s ground terminal.
• To locate shorts or faults in fence lines, use the fence probe for quick contact with fence lines (conductors, i.e., wire, rope, braid, tape), while inserting the earth probe into the ground.
• To check battery voltage, keep the fence probe in contact with the positive (+) terminal and the earth probe in contact with the negative (-) terminal
• Includes reverse connection protection. Powered by a replaceable 9 V battery (6F22, included).
